- Novi, Sura (Suranoviremblastiran)
- Woman born and brought up as part of Gaia, who spent many years playing the part of a Hamish woman, in which guise she intervened to prevent Karoll Rufirant from assaulting Stor Gendibal. Their subsequent contact enabled Gendibal to provide his fellow speakers with hard evidence of the existence of what Shandess had dubbed the Anti-Mules. She travelled back to Gaia with Stor Gendibal, who saw her apparently simple mind as a useful early-warning system for the mentalic influence he inferred likely to come from Gaia. On their arrival she explained, on behalf of Gaia, the crisis to Gendibal, Harla Branno and Golan Trevize. Once Trevize had decided in favour of Galaxia and Gendibal's memories of Gaia had been erased, she reverted to her earlier role, and when Gendibal returned to Trantor to succeed Shandess as First Speaker she ensured that Gaia could continue to exert a strong covert influence over Second Foundation affairs by becoming his close companion.
