- Political agitator of Trantor at the time of Cleon I, who through skilled demagoguery attracted a following among the planet's underclass in an attempt to replace Eto Demerzel as First Minister to Cleon. After Hari Seldon discovered him not to be from Nishaya as he claimed but a Mycogenian breakaway, he encouraged him publicly to denounce Demerzel as a robot. When this was "disproved" by Demerzel himself, the public humiliation led to the collapse of the Joranumite movement and the exile of Joranum to Nishaya. (9-I)
